Sheri, Suzan, and I took hiked the High Divide/7 Lakes Basin Loop, beginning and ending at the Sol Duc Trailhead in the Olympic National Park (19 miles). Lovely trail, great views, perfect weather.
Day 1: Sol Duc Trailhead to Lunch Lake in the Seven Lakes Basin. Camped above Lunch Lake, overlooking Clear Lake. We had what we're pretty sure was a black bear snuffling around our tents in the middle of the night. Other than that, great campsite.

Day 2: Took in the views from Bogachiel Peak and then took a side trip to Hoh Lake for a quick swim. Saw three bears along the way. Back to the High Divide trail, we hiked along the divide for a few miles with nearly constant, fabulous views of Mount Olympus before dropping down to our campsite at Sol Duc Park, about a mile past Heart Lake.
